Centrix Engineering was incorporated on 8 August 2003 bringing together a group of talented individuals with up to 30 years experience in engineering design, manufacturing and financial management.
The company was established as the directors considered a niche market existed for a “Design to Manufacture” business especially with the expected resources boom to hit Western Australia. The company commenced operating in Welshpool in office/workshop facilities totaling approximately 1,500 square metres.
As anticipated, the company quickly gained a reputation of providing cost effective solutions to corporate clientele in a wide range of industries.
In November 2005, having outgrown its premises, Centrix Engineering signed a lease for a modern 2,000 square metre office/workshop facility in Adams Drive, Welshpool. The company relocated to the new site in January 2006.
As a result of the continued growth of the company, additional companies have been established and Centrix Engineering has become part of the Centrix Group of companies.
Management
John Miniello CA – Managing Director John is a founding director and shareholder of Centrix Engineering and resigned from the accountancy practice in June 2005 to take on a full time role at Centrix Engineering.
Darryl Althorpe BE – Engineering Manager Darryl Althorpe has over 30 years experience in engineering. After initial trade qualifications in manufacturing, he resumed his studies, completing a degree in Mechanical Engineering, then spent three years in research and development on food industry automation projects. Darryl then broadened his process automation experience as Engineering Director of the Adept Group for 12 years. Darryl was also a founder of the company Solar Track which developed and manufactures a tracking system unique in the marketplace. Darryl now heads the engineering team at Centrix, where his diverse plant automation experience and practical approach are central to the company’s capabilities in generating original solutions of the highest quality. |
